The Harrison Trek for Children in Nepal 2008
is an outstanding success

Total raised so far is £13,800.81
The Trustees of New Futures Nepal would like to thank everyone who was involved in helping to make the ‘Harrison Trek for children in Nepal 2008’ an outstanding success. Judging by the feedback everyone who attended had a great day out and many have pledged their support for next year's event. The photograph above was taken on 4th September and more money has been received since taking our total to £13,800.81. We are not sure if this is the final total because we keep receiving additional payments but we are certain that you will agree that it is an amazing amount for our first event.
A special thank you goes to Martyn Harrison who sponsored the event and who encouraged so many of his associates and suppliers to support us. Equally, we want to thank the members of the 246 Gurkha Signal Squadron and their families for their outstanding contribution on the day. We particularly want to thank Captain Ganesh and we wish him well for his next tour of duty. We also want to thank Hugh Venables and his team at The Partners Group in York for their constant support and assistance.
Once again a big thank you to all of you who supported us.
The planning for the 2009 Trek, to be held on 20th June, is well underway and we hope to make it bigger and better. To assist with the planning we have formed a Yorkshire Support Group for New Futures Nepal and if you would like to join us please telephone Colin on 01751 460250 to discuss how we see this operating.
